MossStar slowly walked along the border with Riverclan. He couldn't help but think about what had happened last time he was here, when the rogue cat, who he now knew was named Bloodstorm, had attacked Riverclan, stolen a kit and then killed it in front of the Riverclan leader. He had also heard rumors that Bloodstorm was leader of a band of rogues called Bloodclan.
"Well, it's all quiet now. I sure they're off hunting somewhere else. Riverclan territory, probably. I just hope they don't come here." He then realized that he shouldn't have gone patrolling alone. If he met them, he would be badly outnumbered and would have no choice but to flee. "I better hurry up. The clan may be missing me by now."
