Hunting Along WindClan Border - [Open]

BloodStorm sneaked across the terrain with his body pressed tightly against the ground. With him were BoneClaw, ViceFang, and RedWater. They were right beside the WindClan border and were on Non-Clan territory which they considered their territory. Behind them a little while back was their farm which they lived in. They could be seen if a WindClan cat were to be patroling the border however. RedWater lept onto a mouse instantly killing it with a swift bite to the neck. Prey were large and plentiful around their territory. RedWater raised his head victorious before burying it under some earth. BloodStorm stepped over and nodded to RedWater to show that he did a good job.

Redstar was watching from a safe distance with Flameclaw, Firefur and a new apprentice, Flintpaw. They were hidden in bushes, unable to be seen. "Hey, it's Bloodstar.." He said, looking at Bloodstorm. "I haven't seen him in a while. We had to exile him because he killed the Shadowclan leader." Redstar told them. "Flameclaw, do you remember him? The cat that took your lunch when you were a kit?" Redstar asked him. But something was different this time. Bloodstar had changed, and it looked like he was with a bunch of rogues.

"Let's just sit back and watch. If we're found, it could prove fatal." Redstar said. "I wonder what he's up to?" He thought.

"RedWater. Time for you to improve your hunting skills." Skulker said padding forward. "Yes. Skulker will teach you proper hunting." BloodStorm said sitting down. "First, sniff the air for scents." Skulker said, as they both sniffed the air. Skulker's eyes narrowed but RedWater had no reaction because he didn't recognize the scent. "Well, well, well...What do we have here. BloodStorm, it seems to be one of your former clan mates." Skulker smirked looking over to nearby bushes. At first glance there appeared to be nothing there but as Skulker crouched down he spotted three pairs of eyes. "Should we attack?" BoneClaw asked, his large built body largely standing out against the others. His large size was unmatched by any cat within the four clans

'Except that Hawkfire is pretty close...' BoneClaw thought, with a growl. "Not yet. ViceFang will move in first since he is the fastest. He will trap them while the rest of us move in. RedWater will take on the smallest one." BloodStorm said, flicking his tail towards the bushes unleashing ViceFang. He ran with a large amount of speed. He then pounced into the bushes and slashed at the first cat he saw who happened to be RedStar. It didn't take too long after for the rest to get there and they helped in attacking. BloodStorm and Vicefang took on Redstar, BoneClaw took on FlameClaw, and RedWater took on FlintPaw with a fury of swipes.

Flameclaw watched, crouching between Redstar and Flintpaw. He opened his mouth as if he was hissing, but made no sound. Unfortunately his flame-coloured coat stuck out enough from the shadows and the black pelts of his fellows that they were spotted. The rogue cats rounded on them, and one of them - Boneclaw, swiped furiously at Flameclaw. He tumbled backwards, dodging the first few blows. Then, getting up on his feet again, he kept dodging right and left, swinging his own blows at whatever he could reach. He was slashed across the muzzle with three very sharp claws, but hit back with his own claws and fangs. He was the best at agility in the clan, and could dodge Boneclaw for ages. He jumped backward and crouched, before springing forward with his fangs at the ready.

"Bloodstar, youre a monster!" Redstar yelled, as Bloodstorm suddenly turned around and attacked the group. It was 2 against 1 for Redstar, and he was concentrating on dodging everything he could. But at the right time, Redstar used as uppercut and slashed Vicefang's neck and then pushed him to the ground. "Now it's just you and me, Bloodstar." Redstar hissed. He ran up and tackled Bloodstorm, then jumped back, checking on his clan mates. Flameclaw seemed to be doing fine. Unfortunately, Flintpaw looked dazed and confused, so Redstar ran over to help.

Ravenfang and Frostclaw were on a patrol around the windclan border, checking for any unusual activity. Suddenly Raven stopped. "Frosty," he murmured, flicking his head in one direction. Ahead of them, past some bushes, were several cats, fighting each other. Ravenfang wrinkled his nose. The stench of Shadowclan and blood was overwhelming. "Something seems familiar about that tawny one." he muttered to himself. Frosty looked at him curiously.

The duo edged closer, and suddenly darted forward. The two fastest runners in windclan, excluding maybe one/ two cats, bolted towards the scene, and leapt right into the fray. Ravenclaw pelted straight into Redwater, bowling the kitten over, and leapt for Boneclaw's throat. Seeing that the tawny-coloured cat had also jumped for the same opponent, he somehow managed to alter his direction so the Shadowclan tomcat grabbed the front and Ravenfang could latch onto the flank. Frostclaw charged into Vicefang and pinned him down with his paws, his sharp claws unsheathed. He darted his head forward, aiming for Vicefang's throat with his very sharp fangs.

The rogues were to swift, and repeatidly dodged blow after blow. None of them had a mark on them yet, except for ViceFang who found it hard to dodge because of his large size. He finally decided to use that size to his advantage and lept towards RavenFang attempting to pin him down.

RedWater was amazingly skilled for a kit and continued to dodge and swipe at the cats. Suddenly he was hit by a paw and sent flying a few feet away. He recovered himself and limped to stand up. He winced as retreated from the fight. Soon after he retreated another cats came. It was was beautiful gray she-cat with blue eyes. 'BlueStorm...' BloodStorm thought, snickering as he continued to swipe at RedStar with incredible speed.

The fight was holding strong.

The heat of battle made the warriors fail to notice the new-comer. She slowly and sneakily slipped around the battle without detection to meet the small FlintPaw. "Hey little guy..." she said, with a kind and gentle voice. "I'm here to get you away from this battle." she said, her face and voice sincere.

While this went on BloodStorm fought with incredible combos at RedStar.
ViceFang pinned down RavenFang and swiped at the cats face with a large unsheathed paw.
Skulker fought with a great accuracy of swipes at FrostClaw.
And BoneClaw's speed was nearly impossible to keep up with as he dodged and swiped at the same time.

Flameclaw was fast. Fast enough to keep up with and even match Boneclaw's speed and swiftness. He dodged left and right, but misjudged one of his uppercuts and was struck by a powerful blow across the cheek. He tumbled backwards and, bleeding a bit from a gash across the muzzle, charged forwards again. While he was down, he noticed another cat walk up to Flintpaw. "Flintpaw! Don't listen!" he shouted, flicking blood out of his eyes. He watched Boneclaw's tactic, and did the same, feinting left and right and sneaking in attacking blows.

BoneClaw quickly noticed his tactics being matched and began to use different tactics at a time. He was going easy on this warrior. He was barely used half his true speed. He was the fastest among the forest and could easily take on this Shadow Clan warrior. It seemed FlameClaw was having a bit of trouble keeping up with his current speed. BoneClaw then sped up his swipes and his dodges were swift and graceful as he continued to swat at warrior. Then he unsheathed his long claws that were reinforced with dog claws. One blow was nearly fatal. He began to slash with both claws at the ShadowClan Warrior with almost full speed.

Frostclaw darted and dodged, but still had many shallow cuts on his body. He struck back at his opponent, teeth and claws flashing, in the same style as the other cat.

Ravenfang, pinned on the ground, used his back paws - claws unsheathed, to rake at his foe's belly. At this range, he could not miss. He used his front paws - claws also unsheathed, to defend himself against the flurry of blows swung at him.

ViceFang winced but remained cool as he pinned the cats hind legs with his own. He saw an opening through the flurry of slashes and unsheathed his reinforced claws and slashed at the cats vulnerable belly. With reinforced claws the blow would be extremely powerful.

Firefur looked down from the branch she was perched on. Somehow she had escaped the detection of the rogues. Flameclaw seemed to be having difficulties keeping up with his enemy, so she prepared to spring. She landed right in front of Boneclaw and slashed at his face.

BoneClaw jumped back avoiding the blow with swiftness. "We are outnumbered, and more may arrive soon!" BloodStorm shouted, retreating with the rest of the rogues into the distance. All was peaceful but FlintPaw was missing.

Redstar watched as the rogues retreated. He was covered in scratches, many which were bleeding. "Thank you Windclan. This help will not be forgotten, but we still are not in the least bit allies." He said Flostclaw and Ravenfang. "Flameclaw, Firefur, nice job. And Flintpaw...wait, where's Flintpaw?" Redstar said, looking around. "You two head back to camp." He said to the Shadowclan warriors. "I'll look for Flintpaw."

Redstar looked all night and well into the morning, but never found Flintpaw...

Flameclaw hauled himself up, shuddering with the exhaustion of the fight. "They're tough..." he hissed. "We'd batter watch out for them." he turned to Firefur.

"Thanks, Firefur." he mewed gratefully, licking the wounds that ran like tiger stripes down his forelegs and front part of his belly.

He looked at the blood sourly. "These wounds won't be going away any time soon..." he muttered. He licked his muzzle and tasted blood. "How bad is this one?" he asked Firefur.

Looking at RedStar, he queried, "Are you sure? I can help you look..." seeing the black cat shake his head, Flameclaw flicked the blood out of his eyes and said to Firefur, "C'mon Firefur. Let's go back to camp and get the medicine cat to see our wounds."

As he limped away, he turned his head to the WindClan cats Ravenfang and Frostclaw. "Thank you, both of you. We won't forget your help."

Ravenfang stood up, panting. He had curled up somehow underneath Boneclaw, and there were three very deep slashes down is dappled black back. He winced as he moved, and Frosty moved towards him and licked the wounds carefully. Frosty was better off. He had mostly shallow cuts and scratches, and had given his opponent many shallow cuts as well. But he had a deep cut across the right flank. Frosty looked at RedStar. "We're glad to help." he said. Then, hissing playfully, he growled, "But we could be at war with you next thing we know!"

Raven cuffed him round the head, wincing as he did so. "This isn't the time for one of your silly jokes, Frost." he meowed painfully. "Let's go now." Frostclaw nodded and dipped his head politely at the ShadowClan cats before leaving with Ravenfang.
