((I don't feel like logging in as SilverWind.))

Silverwind sat up and stretched, her claws raking the wooden flooring. She stood and looked around. She had no idea how long she'd been here. The twoleg nest was huge, with three floors and one that had an entrance that sometimes disappeared, and three and a half twolegs lived there. She regarded the 5yr old twoleg as a half, as he wasn't nearly as big as the other two. Luckily, the little one was nowhere in sight.

Silver was in a part of the nest where the twolegs made food. It smelled delicious, but she never got any of it. Silverwind nudged a small plastic bowl, filled with slop that smelled like a kind of bird but tasted like crowfood. She also had to sleep in this room, on a soft, cushion - of course, she was used to the hard ground of the forest so she slept beneath the table with the cloth to shield her from view. She looked up, and saw a window above the counter. She gracefully and easily jumped up onto the counter, and stood where the window was open. Pushing the opening wider with her nose, she jumped out into the garden.

The garden was tiny, even though the nest was big. It was filled with bushes and small trees, and brightly-coloured flowers which she had never seen before. From her knowledge of the Thunderclan forest, SilverWind knew that the twoleg place she was at was near the tallpines, and if she went through the forest she could get back home. She had looked inside the garden before, so she wasn't as disorientated by the smells. Heading towards a clump of shrubs at the far end, thinking that she could walk straight out and into the forest, Silverwind yowled sharply when she ran headlong into a flat tree. There were iron things digging into it, and it was too flat to be a proper tree. Soft earth gave way under Silverwind's paws to reveal a hole connecting her to the outside world. She dug frantically, having a taste of freedom. She pushed herself out, and gasped in horror...

...Silverwind could not believe her eyes. Where was the forest? The prey? The scents of her clanmates? In front of her was a wide road, with more kittypet homes in front of her and stretching out on either side. She couldn't think. She ran. Past thousands and thousands of twoleg nests, and she didn't stop when crossing a smaller thunderpath - despite being nearly hit by a large monster, not when her legs ached and her belly rumbled with hunger. Finally, she had to rest. Curling up in a corner of an old cardboard box, Silver yawned and fell asleep.

Hours later, she awoke. Looking into the sky, Silver saw that is was now almost moonhigh. She got up and kept walking, in the direction she had started. After a very long time, as her paw-pads were starting to feel numb and her limbs were going cold, Silverwind saw a familiar sight - the Tallpines. She meowed in happiness. Home was near. Picking up speed, she forgot the aches in her legs and paws, and ran like the warrior she was. Absent-mindedly she thought about what she'd do when she got there. I'd definitely put on some more weight... she thought, glancing at her thin, scrawny body. She had hardly eaten a thing while living at the twolegs' nest, just enough to keep them from taking her to the White-Coat. And I'll start hunting and fighting again! she grinned to herself, running a little faster.

Leaping over the fence separating her from the forest, Silverwind sighed happily as she landed back down in ThunderClan territory. The sights and smells ahead of her were all familiar, and she started on her way back to camp. She went through the bracken tunnel; thankfully no cats were about so she avoided a fuss, and walked slowly into the leader's den, calling to the interior that she was entering. She passed through the curtain of lichen, and stretched out on the ground to sleep.
